What to expect
Join Emily Somers at Good Vibrations Yoga for Serenity & Sound, a deeply restorative sound bath experience designed to help you step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with yourself.
We'll begin with gentle, accessible movement to help you settle comfortably into your body. From there, Emily will guide you into rest as you're surrounded by the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, gong, and other instruments.
No yoga or sound bath experience is needed. Just come as you are, get comfortable, and give yourself permission to slow down, reset, and renew for fall. Come breathe, rest, and experience the power of sound in community.
About Emily

Emily Somers is a yoga teacher, sound bath practitioner, and avid mala-maker. She practiced yoga on and off for years, but everything changed in 2015 when a beautiful studio opened in her neighborhood — there she discovered yoga could offer something much deeper than movement: a sense of peace, self-love, and acceptance.
After navigating a breast cancer diagnosis at just 29 and her own lifelong journey with body image and weight, Emily felt called to teach — to create the kind of welcoming space she had found, where anyone who has ever felt like they didn't fit the traditional image of a “yoga person” could feel comfortable, supported, and at home.
Emily completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training through Authentic Yoga in Scottsdale in 2021 and the Healing Emphasis Yoga program through Inner Vision Yoga in 2026. She brings warmth, compassion, and a genuine belief that yoga is for every body.
Good to know
- What should I bring?
- Just yourself, in comfortable clothes. Mats, props, and blankets are provided — bring your own if you'd like, and a water bottle. Some people love an eye pillow.
- When should I arrive?
- 10–15 minutes early, so there's time to get settled before the sound begins. We start on time at 3:00 and finish around 4:00.
- Do I need yoga experience?
- No. The movement is gentle and every option works from a chair or the floor. All levels and every body are welcome.
- What if I can't make it?
- Please contact the studio about cancellations or refunds.
- Plans change — call or text (602) 888-0373 and we'll sort it out: a friend can take your seat, or we'll refund your ticket. A day's notice helps us offer the spot to someone else.
- Bringing someone?
- Wonderful. Each person saves their own spot with their own email — or call or text us and we'll hold seats together.
